Baldur's Gate: Vice
Buldren "Lustbeard" Clathos
A male prostitute turned male squire
Male Mountain dwarf Squire
For an orphan from the streets, “Lustbeard” had once been on the brink of becoming a real citizen. He acquired a job, a title in the mason’s guild (in spite of his partial illiteracy), and an arranged marriage with a lovely mountain dwarf widow. But all that went out the window when he dug too greedily and too deep, attempting to get involved with a Guild funded fighting ring to bag a nice purse with which to welcome his comely but destitute fiancé.
He refused to take a dive, lost some dangerous people a lot of money, beat those people within an inch of their lives: resulting in some permanent damage, then failed to evade their friends. He soon found himself trapped in the Blushing Mermaid, forced into the sex trade by Guild enforcers. After a couple years his punishment was seen as sufficient, but with his old life shattered and his reputation ruined, he had nowhere to turn but to the meager coin given by the clients, and what he could steal.
The name “Lustbeard” was given by one particularly cruel john, and as cruel names usually do, it stuck.
Pelagornis Sandersi IV took Lustbeard from the Blushing Mermaid and offered him a position as a squire to the mechanoid paladin. Lustbeard, having been previously subsumed by depression, suddenly saw some hope for his situation, and gladly agreed, aggressively pursuing his studies.
