Baldur's Gate: Vice
The lamplass grifter
Female Human Bystander
Many children in Baldur’s Gate take up work as lamplads/lasses, lighting the way for parties traversing the city during the mist shrouded evenings and carrying packages high over the crowds on long poles, or messages in their many pockets by day.
Some find this profession more lucrative than others. Take Tilda for instance. One part shamelessness, one part thuggery, one part business acumen has left the oddly charming twelve-year old urchin-pioneer well paid and well fed. She’s also made a habit of running a protection racket over several other lamplads, who pay up to her.
